New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (BdB) tells folks who are hit with a summons for smoking marijuana that they need to pay those fines if they don’t want to end up in jail with an even larger fine and attorney fees.

During a sit down with Errol Louis, Bill de Blasio talked about the two most important things all marijuana smokers in the city of New York should know.

The first thing is that a person can’t smoke weed in public. Smoking weed in public may lead to a person getting a summons, or worse yet getting arrested by the feds.

And y’all know Attorney General Jeff “Mr. Magoo” Sessions policy on marijuana. It’s bad all the time.

Personally, I think “Mr. Magoo” doesn’t like marijuana because of Mary Jane. That’s right. I believe that during his younger days when colored people and colored TV were becoming popular, Mr. Magoo tried dating a girl named Mary Jane and she turned him down because he’s such a short little thing.

And that there just added to his short man complex which lead to him hating any and everything named Mary Jane; including marijuana.

Therefore, I think it’s a personal thing for “Mr.Magoo.” He has issues that not even Jesus or Dr. Phil wants to help him through.

But y’all get the point! Don’t smoke that Mary Jane out in the public, now! You may go to jail.

The good news is that ol’BdB recognizes that it makes no sense to throw folks in the pokey just for getting a little high.

That’s why de Blasio told the NYPD to chillax and just give folks a summons who’re caught blazing away.

Here’s the second and most important part about all of this. If y’all do get a summons, remember to go down to the court house and pay it or mail it in because if you don’t, a warrant may very well be issued and you may get arrested.

Those bail fees, court fines, and lawyer fees could deplete your tree smoking funds.
